The old sailing site had a thread where we all posted the weird and wonderful boats of the Pacific Northwest that came up for sale, and I think this site needs a similar thread. So here it is…
The Sceptre 36 was built in Richmond, and is a pretty neat boat IMO; but the price seems high given the design’s vintage.
Personal peeve: it is spelled “rode”…
Looks like both Rhumbline (frac) and Amelie (masthead) are testing the market this winter. Not that the J/29 counts as an anomaly.

I tried to buy that Olson last summer but the owner wouldn’t sell it. Looks pretty good. Hope it stays local.
Kirby 25 for super cheap - could be a sweet div 7 boat if the insides not rotten
Originally from Santa Cruz, but I think this counts:
Paging @KodiakDownSouth
The Kirby 25 looks interesting, it appears to have top mast runners and a set at the top of the forestay.
I’m a Sceptre 36 fan, and this boat looks to be in good condition (though the listing lacks details), assuming that the pictures are recent.
This looks like a good opportunity, Elliott 770 https://sailinganarchy.com/advert/elliott-770-9/
Ed is back on the market;
Port Hadlock, WA is pretty local, and this one definitely counts as an anomaly. It’s a beautiful boat if you don’t mind the associated upkeep. A recent copy of 48 North had an ad for the boat showing the asking price as $8,900; not sure if that’s a typo or a further reduction. https://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1948/kettenburg-pc-32-3156726/
To the extent this really is the last Peterson 35 built I guess that makes it count as a bit of an anomaly. It would be nice to have some photos, but if it’s a well-cared for one-owner boat it could be a sweet ride for someone.

Double D is back on the market

1/3 Ownership in Performance Sailboat - $12000 (Vancouver)
Look like Presto is for sale, or one third of her is.
Just saw this ad for Spiny Norman. For the sake of the remaining local Farr 30s I hope it stays local and active.
I’m trying to remember who’s left - the active ones in 2019 included Ideopathic, M Power, Through, Calico and Spiny Norman; there’s also Kiss, but I’m not sure what their plans are once Occam’s is back, and the original 65 Red Roses, although they seem less active these days. Have I missed any?

Rubato is officially on the market now, too:

I guess this is something you could do with a Catalina 22?
